“The Maker” and the Preciousness of Life

The true story of the Bible shows us that left to ourselves the life we make falls woefully short of the fullness God intends for us.  But the good news of Jesus and his Kingdom is that he makes all things new.  So we are left with a choice. We can dig in our heels, reject this loving and righteous rule and remain at odds with the Maker of all things.  Or we can yield, accept the great exchange and find life in abundance.

Christopher and Christine Kezelos’ fantastical stop-motion parable “The Maker” may not have this full story in mind but it expresses a key yearning of humanity and vital reality of life in the Kingdom.
